How to Read Shopping Agent Spreadsheet Names

A platform name in a filename tells you how somebody organised or shared a list. It does not prove that the destination is current, compatible, complete or officially connected to that platform.

Start here

When the same item appears under different shopping-service names, ignore the label for a moment and compare the destination, product photos, variation and measurements. The current page matters more than the name attached to an old spreadsheet.

Why the same list can carry several platform names

Shared spreadsheets are often copied, renamed, converted or republished. A row that began in an Allchinabuy spreadsheet may later appear under an ACBuy spreadsheet, Mulebuy spreadsheet, CNFans spreadsheet or Hoobuy spreadsheet label. The label can describe the audience or link wrapper rather than the original marketplace page.

This is why a spreadsheet name should never be treated as product verification. Current photos, measurements, variations, the displayed price and the destination matter more than the filename.

What different labels usually tell you

A shortened or spaced name

ACBuy, AC Buy and AllChinaBuy may be used loosely in shared filenames. Similar wording is not proof that two links lead to the same item, so compare the actual destinations.

Another shopping-service name

A copied list may be renamed for a different audience. The new label can change while the underlying Taobao, Weidian or 1688 source stays the same.

A marketplace name

Taobao, Weidian and 1688 usually describe the source page rather than the person who assembled the spreadsheet. Open the source only if the domain and item match what you expected.

A photo-album name

Yupoo often points to a photo-led catalog. Match the album item to the spreadsheet row; a familiar album name does not confirm the product by itself.

How much attention should you give the label?

Just enough to understand the route. A service name can help explain where a link was copied from, but it cannot tell you whether the page is still active, the variation is available or the seller is reliable. Once you reach the current destination, judge what is actually on that page.

If two filenames differ only by spacing or a shortened name, do not build separate shortlists. Compare the links, remove duplicates and keep the version with clearer product information.

Trace the original source in five steps

  1. Name the category. Decide whether the row is shoes, clothing, bags, electronics or another neutral product type.
  2. Open the visible destination carefully. Note the domain before entering any information.
  3. Look for the underlying source. A Taobao, Weidian, 1688 or Yupoo reference can show where the row came from, but it still needs checking.
  4. Match the item. Compare title, photos, variation, size information and included parts.
  5. Record what remains unknown. Do not let a familiar platform label hide missing measurements, weight or current policy details.
Directory taskBrowse and compare

Use a spreadsheet or Findsindex category when you need several plausible rows and a clearer shortlist.

Use QC photos, measurements and source pages to answer product-specific questions.

Account taskUse the official service

Login, coupon, refund, payment, order status and tracking questions require the service connected to the account.

What a name cannot tell you

A filename cannot confirm stock, price, seller reliability, shipping availability or whether the row still points to the intended item. It also cannot make two link formats interchangeable. Those questions require the current page and, for account or order matters, the relevant official service.

A familiar label can make an old row feel safer than it is. If the photos, variation, measurements or destination no longer match, remove the row regardless of who named the spreadsheet.

Keep the label, but trust the current page

The label is useful for remembering where a row came from. Make the decision from the destination you can see now, the matching product details and the information you can verify.
